Elsie's Obituary
Elsie Lee Pyeatt of Mountain Home, Arkansas, daughter of the late Ted and Hester (Shrable) Brown was born September 21, 1933, in Vidette, Arkansas. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 22 days.
Elsie was united in marriage to Simon R. “Pete” Pyeatt on September 29, 1956, in Mountain Home, Arkansas and to this union four children were born.
Elsie graduated from Viola High School in 1951 and spent her working life in Mountain Home where she retired in 1995 after twenty-three years in banking. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Elsie leaves to mourn her passing, one brother, Max Brown (Doris) of Douglass, Kansas; three daughters, Rhonda Pyeatt (Jim Douglas) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Brenda Metcalf of Springdale, Arkansas and Tammie Condery (Jeff) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one son, Richard B. Pyeatt (Marianne) of Harriet, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Chad Fletcher, Chris Fletcher (Karen), Kelly Frazee (Josh), Skylar Metcalf, Colter Metcalf, Hannah Kennedy (Dominick), Bobby Condery, Richard “Beau” Pyeatt, Ashley Pyeatt and Jacob Pyeatt; four great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Jackson Frazee and Xander and Braxton Kennedy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Chloe McCandlis.
